Our experience with Max and Fix-it AC & Heat Started in 2010 when our original heat pump went out. It was in the midst of an early August heat wave and Max was the only company we could get to come out and look at our system the same day. He came out in the evening when most places had already called it a day and looked our system over and got us running for the night. He also diagnosed that we had a leak in the coil and that it would need to be replaced. The system was old and I didn’t want to throw good money over bad so we had him price new systems. He came back with pricing on three different systems and one of them that he showed us was the Frigidaire 23 SEER IQ Drive system. We went with that system and have loved it ever since. The unit paid for the difference in cost in the first 18 months by saving us 40% on our electric bills even though 2011 was hotter than 2010!
Needless to say when our upstairs unit went out in 2012, Max was the guy we called to take care of the unit. Because we don’t use the upstairs that much (game room) he suggested that we go with lower SEER Frigidaire unit to save money. The great news was it also has saved us money on electricity and lowered our bill even more.
I can’t say enough about Max and Fix-it AC & Heat. He was the guy that came out in the evening to get us running and steered us to the super-efficient unit for our main unit and the less expensive one for our less used area. It is hard to find honest people that do good work and care. I whole heartily recommend Max and Fix-it AC and am very happy that I got the IQ Drive system.

When my ac stopped cooling in the heat of summer i was freaking out, because i could not afford to replace my unit. Some "other guys" said it would cost thousands to replace my Ac System. Max found the problem and fixed it quickly and at a fair price, saving me thousands until i can save to replace my entire unit.
